Cubic Telecom is a leading provider of connectivity solutions and analytics services. We are seeking an experienced SIM Engineer to join our SIM Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SIM / eSIM / OTA engineering R&D and experience with technologies such as Javacard, Remote SIM Provisioning, and ETSI / 3GPP specifications. Key responsibilities include designing and developing new features and products, researching and showcasing new technologies, and participating in RFx processes for the selection and onboarding of new suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and open-minded approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

The Role
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic SIM Engineer to join our team, as we expand to support our increasing customers and solutions portfolio. The SIM Engineering team is responsible for delivering Cubic solutions in the SIM / eSIM Remote SIM Provisioning technology domain, delivering state-of-the-art technology projects with global connectivity reach to the automotive, agriculture, and transport industries.

Requirements
Third-level qualification in a technology discipline, 6-9 years of experience in technology organisations, preferably telecoms technology, with up to 5 years' experience in SIM / eSIM / OTA engineering R&D. Strong working experience and deep understanding of Javacard 2.2.2+, Remote SIM Provisioning technologies GSMA SGP.02, ETSI / 3GPP smart card / (U)SIM specifications, ISO 7816, Global Platform 2.2+ specifications, and SIM OTA development and testing. Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks, effective communication skills, and a proactive and open-minded approach.
