The Role

We require a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to service underground heavy equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders. Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance inspections, lubrications, troubleshooting equipment failures, completing overhauls, and conducting repair work as required.

Requirements
  • A valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic certificate, Agricultural Mechanic, or Truck and Transport Mechanic Certificate.
  • Five years related underground or surface experience with mobile heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Excellent safety record.

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position that requires working a rotational schedule and commuting to site by aircraft. Safety is a top priority at Cameco, and preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN). We invite candidates to voluntarily disclose accommodation requirements.
