About the Role

As a SAP Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and supporting integration requirements in Product Family Supply Chain Planning & Visibility
  • Implementing functional requirements in SAP environments and cloud-based environments
  • Providing technical and integration support for existing SAP IBP implementation project
  • Working in an agile way within a virtual global team

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the current implementation of SCM developments within SAP APO and SAP ERP
  • Shaping BASF's future planning landscape by moving existing planning processes into cloud-based planning tools
  • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring interfaces for different on-premise and cloud integration scenarios
  • Implementing new integration requirements, including aligning architecture decisions, setting up system connections, and dataflows
  • Supporting existing solutions, including interface monitoring, deployment of Excel Add-in & ERP Add-on, and documentation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in computer science or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in SAP IBP technical integration
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • SAP ABAP programming skills relevant for IBP integration
  • A good understanding of security implications when setting up cloud solutions
  • Basic Supply Chain Planning process knowledge

Nice to Have

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
