Commercial Development Specialist

About the Role
As a Commercial Development Specialist at Philip Morris International, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion in designated regional accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute business plans aligned with commercial strategies to grow company products, negotiate with Operators and Petrol, and identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage designated regional accounts at all levels, developing relationships to achieve business plans and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Influence growth in the category and at Account through effective strategic quarterly planning, fact-based selling, and decision-making processes.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing customer service issues in a timely manner.
- Manage and monitor customer trade spend through continuous analysis and review of business performance to support financial and operational plans.
- Work collaboratively with the Field Sales team to communicate banner initiatives, priorities, and business details to support flawless execution of Business Plans at retail level.
- Negotiate and maintain joint commercial agreements to maximize revenue, profit, and performance.
- Manage a budget of approximately 1 million euros per year and define the strategy for RRP's expansion in off-retail channels and definition of KPIs to measure ROI.
Requirements
- University degree in Business or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial areas.
- Minimum 2 years of progressive sales management experience.
- Previous experience in FMCG is an asset.
- Advanced English and Spanish.
