Our Cloud Transformation Programme

We are undergoing a global cloud transformation programme, spanning 5 continents, led by the Schneider Cloud Centre of Excellence (SCCoE). The programme aims to transform Schneider Electric's business and IT capabilities with the help of cloud technology, driven by mass migrations and application optimisations.

About the Role

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will be a key member of the Cloud Architecture team, contributing to the overall strategy, project execution, and operations in their areas of expertise. They will ensure that cloud applications and infrastructure are breach-resistant and breach-ready, promoting infrastructure standards, rules, and technologies throughout the entire cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define enterprise-class, cloud infrastructure architectures that meet the company's global standards.
  2. Conduct cloud infrastructure architecture assessments, define and maintain solutions as part of a global reference architecture repository.
  3. Implement enterprise-class, cloud infrastructure architectures that support business growth and innovation.
  4. Oversee and guide the build, delivery, and run of the required cloud infrastructure architecture.
  5. Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets the company's technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs.
  6. Design and ensure that technology standards are followed and evolve over time to support business objectives.
  7. Provide cloud-infrastructure architecture Quality Assurance reviews and ensure compliance with architecture standards globally.
  8. Support the technology solutioning and estimating in proposals for change, planning, and pricing.
