About the Position

The IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Werfen's IT solutions aimed at managing Clinical Laboratories. The specialist will configure the Laboratory Informatic System and implement and maintain the application architecture, ensuring the client a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement IT solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Maintain assertive communication with customers and teams.
  • Provide technical, operational, and application-related support to customers.
  • Analyze processes associated with the Laboratory and promote improvements.
  • Work closely with IT Support teams and Product Specialists.
  • Report on activity carried out, within the time frame set in the Style Guide.
  • Remain up-to-date on technology tools and products.

Key Internal Relationships

  • Fluid relationship with roles in the BU Healthcare IT Solutions and IT Support team.
  • Effective communication with the development team for integration systems and equipment connection.
  • Fluid relationship with Area Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Application Specialists.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • Mid-level vocational training in Microcomputer and Network Systems or Operating IT Systems.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

  • Project Manager Professional Certification.
  • VMWare Administration Certification or experience with Virtual Machines.
  • Administration of Operating Systems or knowledge of and experience in the administration thereof.
  • Oracle Administration Certification or experience in Database Administration.
  • WildFly Administration Certification or experience with Applications Servers.
  • HL7 Administration or Certification or experience in Communications protocols.
  • Knowledge of interoperability platforms.
  • Knowledge of BI tools, particularly QlikView.

Language Skills

  • Fluent English is recommended.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese.
