Alstom is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in health and safety, specifically in industrial or manufacturing sites. A degree in engineering or business, combined with a recognized health and safety qualification, would be highly desirable.
You will work closely with teams across engineering and project management to coordinate health and safety activities and provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform risk assessments and develop measures to control risks for assigned projects/depots.
- Develop and maintain local procedures and tools aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards.
- Verify site activities comply with the EHS Plan, guidelines, and work instructions.
- Foster an EHS culture at the site by informing, instructing, and training employees.
