Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Legal Officer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services to our clients, working closely with our Legal Account Managers to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Corporate Maintenance: Assist with the corporate maintenance of client companies, including updating and preparing official documents, such as deeds, contracts, minutes, certificates, and tax registrations.
- Company Incorporation: Support the incorporation of companies and/or shelf companies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Legal Tasks: Handle various legal-related tasks, including establishing, maintaining, processing, and updating files, records, certificates, and other related documents.
- Compliance: Prepare and file forms to comply with and communicate with local authorities, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Minute Book and Stakeholders Register: Update the minute book, stakeholders register, and intake forms, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
- Compliance Files: Maintain compliance files fully updated and in accordance with quality standards.
- Representation: Represent the company externally, including notary offices, banks, and local authorities.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing cover letters, final letters, and courier arrangements.
- Degree in Law: Hold a degree in Law.
- Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Corporate Law: Possess consolidated experience in Corporate Law or Commercial Law.
- Language Skills: Be proficient in English and have excellent written and communication skills in Spanish.
- MS Office: Be proficient in the MS Office package.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate strong team-playing skills, quick-learning, and flexibility towards changing environments.
- Organization: Possess excellent organization skills and adaptability to a high multitasking environment.
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a flexible schedule with entry times between 8:00 and 10:00 AM and end times between 5:00 and 7:00 PM.
- Home Working: Have the opportunity to work from home 60% of the time, with a home working allowance and a 200€ help to build up your home office.
