About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with an interest in the Cloud, to join our team at Kinsei Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test strategies and test cases, implementing and maintaining automated tests, and ensuring the quality of our software solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop test strategies and test cases to ensure the quality of our software solutions.
* Implement and maintain automated tests to reduce manual testing efforts and improve test coverage.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements, and ensure that they are met through effective testing.
* Develop and maintain technical skills to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software testing.
* Analyze and resolve defects, and improve test processes to ensure high-quality software deliveries.
* Work in an agile environment, collaborating with other teams to deliver working software to our clients.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of our software solutions, including their architecture, functionality, and potential issues.
* Participate in continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
* Be proactive in identifying and mitigating potential risks to our software solutions, and ensure that our testing processes are effective in identifying and addressing these risks.
* Communicate effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that testing activities are aligned with their needs and expectations.
* Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that testing activities are integrated into the broader software development lifecycle.
* Participate in testing and quality assurance activities, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing, and apply this knowledge to improve our testing processes and software quality.
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize testing activities, and ensure that they are aligned with our business objectives.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in test automation frameworks, including experience with Python and other scripting languages.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in database management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
* Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver working software to our clients.
* Strong knowledge of software testing principles, practices, and methodologies, including experience with test-driven development and continuous integration.
* Experience with source control systems, including experience with Git and other version control systems.
* Strong understanding of software security principles and best practices, including experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
* Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that testing activities are aligned with their needs and expectations.
* Strong knowledge of software quality assurance principles and best practices, including experience with testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
* Experience working in a collaborative environment, collaborating with other teams to deliver working software to our clients.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices, including experience with cloud-based software development and deployment.
* Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing, and apply this knowledge to improve our testing processes and software quality.
* Strong knowledge of software testing tools and technologies, including experience with testing frameworks, test automation tools, and continuous integration tools.
