Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to work with various stakeholders to provide business leaders with valuable insights from large and complex datasets.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and understanding client data landscapes and assessing data quality
  • Working closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Participating in technical sales activities
  • Working with high volumes of heterogeneous data with distributed systems
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data assets, including data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes based on well-known data platforms
  • Building and managing data infrastructure, including data storage, processing, and access
  • Implementing data models and schema designs to support data analysis and reporting needs
  • Developing and maintaining data quality and data governance frameworks
  • Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with state-of-the-art data processing and analysis technologies
  • Troubleshooting and debugging data-related issues
Requirements

We are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of experience building data assets and pipelines using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and related data services
  • Skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Quicksight
  • Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark
  • Knowledge of designing and maintaining production-level data warehouses and provisioning data lakes
  • Familiarity with software development principles, proficiency in Python, and well-versed in data modeling and ETL design patterns
  • A growth mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and fluent communication in English
