About the Role
The Materials Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and semifinished goods for production. They optimize material planning based on material groups, collaborating with various departments to mitigate potential shortages and maintain smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan raw material deliveries in the short, medium, and long term to meet production demands and minimize inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve their performance and contribute to the development of strong relationships.
- Coordinate phase-in/phase-out processes and analyze safety stock levels for raw materials based on individual material and factory constraints.
- Evaluate master data accuracy and currency in the system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
