Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for managing local Spanish logistic activities and our Third-Party Supplier, who performs warehousing and transportation activities in Spain. Your tasks will include supervising the execution of warehousing, transportation, and local supply of Finished Goods in Spain, optimizing transportation and distribution networks for finished goods to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

You will actively manage supplier performance through systematic and analytical performance review meetings, seeking continuous improvement in the assigned scope and challenging existing processes while aligning with our supplier for improvement potentials. You will also ensure active inventory management, including ensuring aligned stock between FME & our 3PLs, checking and further developing existing interfaces between systems, and managing stock aging together with local planning and business teams.

As a Global Supply Chain Logistics Manager, you will design and deploy new processes, best practices, standards, and operational plans for the Supply Chain Management function controlling document flow, including invoices for accounting. You will check and validate invoices for final approval by your department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to all Supply Chain activities.

You will also ensure appropriate and accurate communication with stakeholders (vendors, internal and external customers, and other FME functions), collaborate and design reporting and dashboards linked to the scope of work indicated, and ensure the appropriate roll out of contracts with vendors in the scope of work, following up proactively their performance accordingly. Additionally, you will review, control, and manage local budget regarding categories, GL's, and cost centers under scope.

This role requires +3 years of experience in an international Supply Chain organization in healthcare/MedTec industry with multiple functional experience (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, procurement, etc.). A solid understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Management with deep knowledge in logistics operations is essential. You must have a university degree in an economical or technical field with a specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or something similar, and at least +5 years of experience in a logistics environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for vendor/contract management, experience managing supply chain indicators, processes, and market requirements, effective communication skills across all levels within the organization, result-driven and customer-oriented working mode, analytical mindset with high problem-solving capability, appreciation of diverse cultures, strong knowledge in Microsoft Office tool suite, especially in Excel, SAP knowledge in the ERP modules SD & MM, knowledge in different Warehouse Management software (Elvis, WM, EWM), knowledge in planning software (SAP APO, SAP IBP), willingness to travel, and driving license. Fluency in English speaking and writing is required, as well as fluency in Spanish.

Requirements
