About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our team in designing and delivering civil infrastructure projects. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality designs and drawings for a wide range of projects, including roadways and railways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and adhere to project CAD standards
  • Prepare finished design drawings from sketches, notes, and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D
  • Work in engineering project collaboration software platforms (i.e., ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
  • Self-check drawings for quality assurance, following the QAQC procedure in force in the project
  • Work in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices
  • Perform responsibilities under limited supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a CAD Technician on Linear Infrastructure projects
  • Good knowledge in the use of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
  • Working experience in modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer
  • Experience using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise
  • Communicative level of English (oral and written)
  • Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada, and Australia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificated in a drafting technology Institute Technical or similar Professional Education
