Breakfast Server Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Breakfast Server to join our team at Grand Hyatt Barcelona. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a warm and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a courteous, attentive, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling requirements.
  • Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
  • Comply with hotel hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
  • Prepare the buffet station for food setup and ensure it is stocked with cutlery, plates, and glassware.
  • Offer premium coffee drinks and à la carte beverages.
  • Collect payment from guests and accommodate special requests.
  • Familiarize yourself with the P.O.S. system and perform cashiering functions when closing checks.
  • Attend meetings as required by management and perform any other duties as requested.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and choose among different courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Capability to perform well in stressful situations.
  • Effectiveness in listening to and clarifying concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
  • Competence in working with financial information and data.
