Mechanical Trainee

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Trainee to join our team at Eurofragance in Sant Cugat, Barcelona. As a Mechanical Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our HQ factory in Rubí.

The Mechanical Trainee will be responsible for participating in preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling and implementing actions. You will also be required to propose plans and calendars, keep track of database records, and schedule works contracted out to external companies.

You will ensure the correct functioning and housekeeping state of key machinery, implement improvements if necessary, and assure the correct installation and starting of new machinery, including training on safety procedures.

In addition, you will support production in equipment troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis to ensure technical availability. You will also schedule and coordinate shutdowns to include preventive maintenance, major projects, and facilities modifications.

As a Mechanical Trainee, you will have the opportunity to propose improvements in process efficiency, safety, and health, and participate in meetings with the production team and team leaders.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, as well as excellent legislation, internal processes, project management, and advanced office tools skills.

You should have intermediate English language skills, high Spanish language skills, and desirable Catalan language skills. You will also need to interact with production, planning, quality control, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
