Site Logistics & Management Operations is a key area of focus for our product family, concentrating on Warehouse & Inventory Management, Yard Management, and Site Logistics topics. Our team is dedicated to delivering best-in-class solutions for our customers.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAP Developer to join our Warehouse Management team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with warehouse consultants to design, create, develop, and optimize warehouse management processes for Warehouse Management solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our agile DevOps team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support our internal business partners to achieve BASF business goals through innovative IT and digitalization solutions.
  • Define solution and technical design based on business requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning and cost estimations.
  • Prepare and conduct user trainings.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
  • Be willing to develop new professional skills.
Qualifications
  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a developer in SAP.
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics processes.
  • ABAP / ABAP OO expertise.
  • Experience working in global/virtual teams/projects.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.
  • Experience with at least one of the following topics: CDS Views, SAP S/4HANA output management, Git via gCTS, Odata V4 support, RAP (ABAP Restful Programming Model), Fiori Launchpad (Spaces, Pages, Notifications).
  • Good English skills.
Nice to Have
  • Understanding and ability to customize IM/LE/WM specific processes and know integration points with other SAP Modules.
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle and change/release management process.
  • Experience running IT solutions as products.
  • Knowledge of Jira/MS Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with test automation.
  • Azure platform.
