Job Overview
As the Head of Manufacturing Engineering and Process Development at TE, you will lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers to drive the development and implementation of new products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to ensure the success and professional growth of team members.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products or processes.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
- Ensure the technological and manufacturing strategy alignment between R&D, PD, and Operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience industrializing production lines.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing transfer and lean methodologies.
- Ability to manage customer relationships and provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
