About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal GUI Developer to join our team at MindManager. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge GUI applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Software Development
  • Design and develop high-quality GUI applications for macOS and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software development processes and standards.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Communicate technical ideas and plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases.

Requirements

  1. Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch.
  • Extensive experience in SwiftUI/AppKit.
  • In-depth understanding of the macOS/iOS SDKs.
  • Proficiency in C++.
Soft Skills
  • Strong oral communication skills to train, coach, and collaborate with other staff.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithm complexity analysis.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them to various projects as needed.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
