Project Manager for Space Projects

At Alén Space, we're expanding our team and seeking a skilled project manager to lead our Mission Control Center team and contribute to the development of space technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for their work, be talented and experienced, and possess excellent communication skills to successfully translate complex technical concepts to international clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and track project progress.
  • Identify risks and obstacles in project development.
  • Manage communication with clients and stakeholders to track action items, solve problems, and agree on changes in scope.
  • Coordinate meetings and milestones reviews with clients.
  • Coordinate the technical team from different areas to achieve project objectives.
  • Track costs and time dedicated to the project according to the project plan and company internal processes.
  • Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing technical projects.
  • Good communication skills in English (C1 equivalent).
  • Proactive attitude to solve problems.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Valuable knowledge of PMI and agile concepts.
  • Academic background in engineering.
  • Experience with aerospace projects applying ECSS management standards.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and similar quality standards.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Experience working with technical requirements.
