About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Officer to join our team at UNICC. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Cybersecurity Operations services and projects aligned with our strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and analyze Cyber Threat Intelligence from diverse sources, ensuring timely and actionable insights.
  2. Conduct analysis of cyber threats, focusing on Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to recommend and implement enhanced detection and response strategies.
  3. Contribute to Cyber Threat Intelligence efforts to strengthen our organization's response to security incidents and improve SOC performance.
  4. Oversee a team of Cyber Threat Intelligence specialists, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  5. Manage and fine-tune Cyber Threat Intelligence tools, ensuring optimal performance and relevance.
  6. Implement automation solutions to streamline Cyber Threat Intelligence processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Prepare Cyber Threat Intelligence reports and briefings, tailored to a diverse audience.
  8. Suggest and implement customized threat detection rules and use cases, boosting our organization's ability to detect and respond to threats.
  9. Analyze security-related data to produce reports that illustrate our organization's security posture and support specialized security assessments.
  10. Establish and deliver key performance indicators to measure and optimize the effectiveness of the Cyber Threat Intelligence team.
  11. Collaborate in technical presales activities for Cybersecurity Operations, providing expert insights and support.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations.
  2. Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, including methodologies and frameworks.
  3. Proficiency in various cybersecurity technologies related to SIEM, Microsoft Operating Systems, Network Security Concepts, EDR solutions, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Cloud environments.
  4. Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence tools (e.g. MISP, etc).
  5. Experience in performing OSINT investigations.
  6. Experience in optimization of Cyber Threat Intelligence process or workflow.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or as Security Incident Responder coordinator.
  2. Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence platform and tools.
  3. Experience with UN entities.
Education
  1. First university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems.
  2. At least one of the following technical certifications: CMS, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, GDAT, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate, OSCP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, or other GIAC/similar certifications.
Language Skills
  1. English: Expert knowledge is required.
  2. Knowledge of other UN official working language is an asset.

Compensation

Annual Salary Estimation (net of tax at single rate):
- Brindisi (Italy): US$ 83,293.
- New York (USA): US$ 120,803.
- Valencia (Spain): US$ 87,717.
