UI/UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team at 2K Games. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual language to support both the art and overall game design on our project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our games.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, art, and engineering, to ensure a cohesive and immersive experience.
  • Develop prototypes and test designs to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Work closely with development partners to deliver and execute on the creative vision.
  • Ensure delivery of Triple-A game quality visuals.
Requirements:
  • Strong UI abilities and understanding of the needs of UI in an interactive game experience.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in prototyping software (Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Figma, etc.).
  • Experience working in game engines (e.g. UE4, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines), design toolsets, and production pipelines is strongly desired.
  • Scripting knowledge is a major plus (Blueprints or other).
  • Proficiency in production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent software for asset generation) is required.
  • Motion graphics and animation proficiency is a major plus.
  • Able to work and communicate in English.
