About the Role:
LCMC Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on the standards of care and the policies of LCMC Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to those interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patients' needs are met and that their concerns are addressed.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of patient care and the efficiency of healthcare services.
Requirements:
- Current Louisiana license in good standing.
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
