Role Overview:

The position of Professional Services Systems Integrator (SI) is a dynamic and challenging opportunity that encompasses the complete lifecycle of post-sales technical activities. The SI professional is expected to be highly technical, stay updated on Entrust solutions, and possess a strong desire for continuous learning and training. Flexibility, adaptability, and effective communication with colleagues, partners, and customers are essential, as is a willingness to travel internationally to engage with diverse cultural environments. This role involves significant direct interaction with clients, making excellent customer-facing skills and an understanding of the commercial sales landscape crucial. The position reports to the Professional Services Manager for Enterprise EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist client personnel in the deployment and installation of Entrust products.
  • Ensure the successful resolution of client deployment challenges through effective collaboration with Entrust Support and/or Authentication & PKI Professional Services.
  • Participate in meetings to comprehend client requirements and offer development and deployment alternatives, along with informal knowledge transfer regarding Entrust products.
  • Identify software customization needs for client projects.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure, functionality, hardware, software, and third-party products to provide architectural guidance tailored to future business and technical requirements, product utilization, and disaster recovery.
  • Confirm that client needs are met and that the product/solution operates fully according to specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Telecommunications).
  • Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey principles and directions to end-users, clients, and fellow development consultants.
  • Ability to work independently, including remote work and solo client site visits.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to thrive in both independent and team settings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with installation and configuration of common business applications (e.g., Web and App servers, Database, LDAP).
  • Familiarity with Entrust products such as IdentityGuard, Security Manager, and TrustedX.
  • Knowledge of secure web-based authentication and rights management solutions, whether from Entrust or competitors.
  • Understanding of public key infrastructures (PKI) and digital certificate technology.
  • Awareness of digital signature and eIDAS legislation.
  • Proficiency in authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) and concepts (2FA, Federation).
  • Experience with smartcard and token-based solutions.
  • Background in web technology development, particularly Java-based.
  • Familiarity with directories (OpenLDAP, Active Directory).
  • Knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
  • A strong technical foundation in Information Technology Security is advantageous.
