Software Engineer Opportunity at Destinus

Destinus is a pioneering aerospace technology company that's pushing the boundaries of innovation. We're on a mission to revolutionize logistics, e-commerce, and supply chain management by providing fast and efficient transportation solutions.

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications that control, display, and monitor systems under test.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient GUI software tools for end-users
  • Understand internal needs and translate them into application features
  • Design creative prototypes according to specifications
  • Write high-quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
  • Perform unit and integration testing before launch
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience as an application developer
  • Experience in designing and building applications
  • Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Delphi
  • In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
  • Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
  • Experience with common web development tools and services, such as version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in interfacing the application with remote sensors would be a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis
