Senior Cybersecurity Specialist: Protecting Assets and Defending Against Threats

This role is designed for professionals with experience in cybersecurity and a strong understanding of network fundamentals, security architecture, and security monitoring tools.

The ideal candidate will be part of our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team, responsible for threat monitoring and incident handling. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysis and verification of security threat monitoring alerts to produce incident identification, classification, and prioritization.
  • Creation, improvement, and maintenance of security monitoring alerts based on correlation of different sources of data.
  • Operation and maintenance of various Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), working closely with security/network architects to enhance security monitoring and defenses.
  • Leading the response to security incidents and investigations, collaborating with customers and IT providers while adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Conducting forensics/malware analysis to extract indicators of compromise for further mitigation and containment, evaluating incident scope and impact.

We are looking for professionals with a strong technical background, including computer engineering or a related discipline, and over 3 years of relevant experience in information security. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging environment.
