Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to lead the health and safety project for a factory in Spain. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work processes and procedures to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations in Spain.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure they are properly installed and operational.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and policies for production operations, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Liaise with the quality control department to ensure finished products meet safety standards.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agents and investigators to address workplace accidents and incidents.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on safety principles and best practices.
  • Review and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external safety legislations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as risk management, engineering, or safety management.
  • Certification in EHS in Spain is a must for this position.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop safe operational strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise safety information to employees.
  • Fluency in Spanish, English, and Chinese Mandarin is a priority for this position.
