About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our tax accounting and compliance function, ensuring accurate tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements, and providing guidance on accounting for income taxes, deferred taxes, and liabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements
- Provide guidance on accounting for income taxes, deferred taxes, and liabilities
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and other tax-related filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage relationships with external tax advisers, auditors, and tax authorities
- Assist in the implementation and roll-out of tax reporting tools and technology aimed at improving tax reporting quality and accuracy and compliance processes
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8 years of experience in industry and/or consultancy or as an in-house tax accountant. You should have relevant tax accounting and reporting (IFRS) experience, an excellent understanding of implications of various direct and indirect taxes, and strong interpersonal skills.
