About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor to join our team at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. As a Senior Editor, you will play a key role in the development of our Schools publishing plan, working closely with our experienced and global team to deliver high-quality learning materials.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage a variety of course materials, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while meeting customer needs. You will work independently, collaborating effectively with authors, in-house teams, and external freelancers and suppliers to develop learning materials that are engaging, motivating, and shaped by key market insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage course materials, ensuring they meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with authors, in-house teams, and external freelancers and suppliers to develop high-quality learning materials
  • Use a variety of tools and systems to manage editorial and project management tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with learning and assessment methodologies, particularly in relation to Cambridge Exam qualifications

About You

We are looking for an experienced editorial professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning materials. You will have excellent editorial project management skills, proven experience of delivering print and digital components on schedule and to budget, and the ability to develop learning materials that are fun, motivating, and shaped by key market insights.
