Key Responsibilities:
- Embedded into the functional domain, balancing business requirements with functional technical strategy to ensure sustainable solutions.
- Producing functional architecture for projects.
- Reviewing designs produced by engineering teams using guidance and patterns provided by architecture.
- Validating solutions align with Santander UK and Group strategies.
- Working with the engineering community to deliver solutions.
Requirements:
Essential Skills:- +5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience in corporate banking such as cash management and payments or trade finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in architecture design.
- Proven experience defining and documenting pragmatic architectures that balance business requirements with functional and technical strategy to deliver sustainable solutions.
- Experience working with stakeholders to help define and deliver strategic objectives and roadmaps.
- Passionate about driving and leading change by creating practical workable architectures aligned to IT principles and following appropriate governance.
- Working knowledge of BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate, and the C4 model.
- Experience using architecture tools like Avolution Abacus.
- Knowledge and experience of AWS Cloud Architectures.
- Knowledge and experience of APIs and microservices.
Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
