ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of our global solar procurement strategy, working closely with the Solar Procurement Manager to drive long-term partnerships with suppliers. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships
- Managing the end-to-end tender process, including RFIs, RFPs/RFQs, and negotiations with suppliers
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Providing market intelligence and analysis to inform procurement decisions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and other industry stakeholders
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in solar procurement and sourcing. The ideal candidate will have:
- A university degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or finance
- 2-3+ years of experience in solar procurement or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Experience with supply contract negotiation and management, contract models, and industry terms and conditions
The successful candidate will be required to travel internationally, with a minimum of 25% of their time spent on the road. This will involve visiting supplier factories, attending industry events, and meeting with stakeholders.
