At the University Institute for Computer Research, we are seeking a talented Data Visualization Specialist to collaborate with our funded research line on Big Data, Data Space, Artificial Intelligence and Health.

Job Overview

The selected candidate will work closely with our research team to design and develop interactive visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights. This role requires strong skills in data visualization, web development, and graphic design.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of €1347.86 gross monthly (plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations).

About the Job

As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and intuitive visualizations that represent mobility patterns in an understandable manner. You will also design interactive maps, infographics, and graphic elements to facilitate easier understanding of complex data.

Requirements

  • Possess experience and training related to data visualization tasks.
  • Be proficient in Adobe graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and InDesign) and 3D design tools (Blender and Cinema 4D).
  • Have knowledge of web development technologies (React, HTML5, CSS, and WordPress).
  • Hold an advanced degree in Design (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6) or an official Master's degree in Art and Design or in Video Game Design and Development (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7).
