International Sales Order Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced International Sales Order Manager to join our team in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a regional team, ensuring appropriate staffing and skill set, and assessing service ratios, workload, and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate staffing and skill set of the SOSs reporting into you.
- Regularly assess service ratios, workload, and capabilities of regional OS staff.
- Take corrective actions where required.
- Set and document half-yearly objectives and assess every six months with GICP eligible direct reports.
- Annual assessment of direct reports.
- Ensure Business Continuity and maintain respective BC Plan.
- Manage, motivate, and regularly assess the regional team.
- Actively communicate with regional team.
- Maintain an open atmosphere; listen to new ideas, provide guidance, and resolve/escalate issues raised.
- Delegate tasks, set deadlines, and track execution.
- Ensure that the services provided by the regional team comply with BMC Policies and Procedures.
- Provide updates/trainings in case of changes.
- Resolve/clarify escalated issues raised by the regional team.
- Ensure order booking deadlines are met by the regional team and regional objectives are achieved.
- Pro-actively engage in Sales Forecast Reporting (Chase list).
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with Sales, Consulting Services, Legal, Best Practices, RevRec, and Finance staff within the region and globally.
- Attend pending–issue telcos to report on unresolved issues and ensure resolution.
- Represent your regional team vis-à-vis other departments on escalated issues and coordinate resolution.
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years of management experience, managing an international diverse team.
- Possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness with regards to all processes.
- Have a proven ability to work collaboratively and courteously, with others to obtain all required documentation necessary to perform and realize revenue on license sale.
- Clear and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ideally, knowledge and experience of Order Services back-office applications, with a good understanding of administrative processes.
- Working knowledge of Oracle, SFDC, ZUORA, and financial operations processes and regulations.
