About the Role

The EU Central Medical Science Liaison will play a crucial role in building relationships with trial site management, conducting international site visits, and communicating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across national borders. This role will also involve responding to medical requests, identifying educational needs, and developing and sharing internal reports on Ad Board meetings, congresses, and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct international site visits to establish relationships with trial site management and maintain strict compliance with local regulations.
  • Engage in accurate, scientific, evidence-based, and non-promotional communication with KOLs and HCPs.
  • Respond to medical requests from HCPs and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and communicate unmet medical education needs of KOLs and HCPs within the organization.
  • Develop and share internal reports on Ad Board meetings, congresses, and customer insights.
  • Support investigators and sites for clinical studies, establish relationships with trial site management, and facilitate scientific discussions at investigator meetings.
  • Lead scientific discussions at investigator meetings and organize external roundtables, ad-boards, and steering committees.
  • Collaborate with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) to integrate patient perspectives into clinical trials.
  • Develop educational materials to raise awareness and set up and staff Medical Affairs booths at congresses.
  • Ensure representation of diverse patient populations and consider health equity in Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economic Outcomes Research (HEOR) studies.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The ideal candidate will have a strong educational and professional background, with a degree in Medicine or Life Sciences, and 7-10 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Deep knowledge in Immunology is essential, ideally complemented by experience in Cardiovascular or Rheumatology fields. The candidate should also have a strong affinity for digital tools and platforms, with the ability to leverage technology effectively in communications, data analysis, and project management.
