About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Data & AI Solutions - Engineering team in our Healthcare R&D business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a critical, AWS-Cloud-based analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new platform features, including overseeing the deployment of new releases and ensuring efficient and seamless updates from a performance perspective.
  • Implement strategies for data archival and optimize data lifecycle processes to ensure efficient storage management and compliance with data regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive further development and deployment of the analytics platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and effectively manage the infrastructure and security aspects of the platform.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python, especially with the boto3 library to interact with AWS services programmatically.
  • Experience with AWS tools and services, including VPC, IAM, STS, EKS, RDS, EC2, ECS, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, and MWAA.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
  • Experience with SQL and familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
