Technical Support Professional

In today's fast-paced business environment, providing exceptional customer service is crucial for driving success. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.

**Job Summary:**
This position involves managing customer cases from inception to resolution, leveraging product expertise and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver successful customer solutions, utilizing Salesforce to track and document customer expectations, issues, status, and action items.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Ensure customer success by owning customer issues and advocating on their behalf to meet or exceed expectations
* Provide solutions and/or workarounds to resolve medium/difficult technical issues
* Work collaboratively with peers, developers, product owners, management, and other departments to develop and deliver successful customer solutions
* Document developed solutions aligned with KCS best practices and standards
* Participate in training/workshops as required for continuous improvement and development
* Manage assigned cases, utilizing Salesforce to track, document, monitor, and communicate customer expectations, issues, status, action items, and deliverables

**Requirements and Qualifications:**
1. Strong capacity and desire to develop customer service and communication skills
2. Ability to manage multiple urgent issues in parallel
3. Confidence, communication, and good interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work with team members, management, and cross-functionally to achieve a mission

**Nice to Have:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
2. Experience working with open-source technology (e.g., Apache Web-Server, Apache Tomcat)
3. Basic understanding of DDL and DML queries (select, join, union, update, etc.)
4. Participation in intercollegiate debates and projects
