We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious professional to join our team as a Secondary Teacher of Economics at Inspired Education Group. This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant and forward-thinking school that values academic excellence and student leadership.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics to Secondary students, utilizing their excellent subject knowledge and effective interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Responsibilities

  1. Teach Economics to Secondary students, using the English National Curriculum and recent developments
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  4. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements

  1. Experience in teaching Economics in a Secondary school setting
  2. Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and recent developments in Economics
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  4. Fluency in written and spoken English

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Previous experience as a Head of Department or in middle management
  2. Master's degree in Education or a related field
