Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Physics Educator to join our teaching team on a temporary cover basis. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching IGCSE and A Level Physics, and an ability to teach mathematics is an advantage but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Physics to students at IGCSE and A Level, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher status (Applications from NQTs also welcome).
  • A degree or equivalent in Physics or a related subject.
  • Experience in teaching and the ability to motivate a diverse student body.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Pastoral responsibility or experience would be an advantage.
