Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Product Owner to join our team and lead the transformation of our business units into data-driven companies. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, proposing, and implementing data solutions that drive business value and improve our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with business leaders to understand their data challenges and opportunities.
- Identify business value in new data initiatives and stay up-to-date with market trends and data partners.
- Design and propose technical solutions to meet data needs.
- Execute data initiatives and apply data security and quality policies.
- Promote the use of standards and best practices.
- Manage budget effectively and communicate the value of data in the organization.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience leading data initiatives and acting as Product Owner in a large company.
- At least 5 years of experience managing technical teams effectively.
- At least 2 years of experience managing budget activities associated with data products.
- Demonstrated experience understanding stakeholders' needs and aligning different visions and interests.
- Strong technical acumen in Azure cloud services is a must.
Desirable Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading data products/platforms with components like Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Server, and Power BI.
- Experience leading data products that collect data from various sources (Excel, Sharepoint, SAP, CRM, APIs, files, IoT devices, etc.).
- Participation in data governance programs for a large company.
- Ability to communicate the value generated with each initiative to different levels in the organization.
- High-level English (C2).
