We are seeking an experienced Actuary to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Life Pricing Actuary for Emerging Markets, you will play a key role in providing technical services to clients in Latin America, including the Brazilian market.
Key Responsibilities- Derive and update best estimate bases in a timely manner
- Support product development initiatives in close cooperation with MR experts
- Monitor and value existing and new business
- Execute risk management processes, particularly for high-risk business
- Preserve, acquire, and promote expertise and technical coordination
- University degree in statistics, mathematics, or actuarial science
- Experience in life (re)insurance pricing, including life contingencies, probabilities, and reserving
- Experience in modeling with actuarial tools and knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic, R, or Matlab
- Fluent in Spanish and very good business English, with Portuguese as a plus
