About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team as a Technical Account Manager, supporting our Enterprise Support customers. As a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect, you will have a direct impact on helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology.

You will craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more. Our Technical Account Managers partner with iconic businesses, ranging from rising startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solutions and provide technical guidance to customers.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in a similar position as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect. You should also understand operational parameters and troubleshooting for 2 or more of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.

In addition, you should have internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience, with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences. Your ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment is essential.

PERFECT FOR YOU

This role requires fluency in English and Russian or Ukrainian. Having professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and programming or scripting skills with languages like Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP, would be an advantage. Understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef is also a plus.
