Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Onsemi (Formerly On Semiconductor), you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement programs to support quality objectives. You will ensure compliance with quality system requirements in manufacturing areas and resolve customer-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Your expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and quality assurance methods will be essential in establishing and implementing automated quality assurance procedures. You will also coordinate with the manufacturing group to solve problems, dispose of materials, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will conduct technical studies to improve product quality and reliability and participate in the buy-off, characterization, and optimization of new equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive continuous improvement programs to support quality objectives
Ensure compliance with quality system requirements in manufacturing areas
Resolve customer-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Establish and implement automated quality assurance procedures
Coordinate with the manufacturing group to solve problems, dispose of materials, and implement corrective actions
Conduct technical studies to improve product quality and reliability
Participate in the buy-off, characterization, and optimization of new equipment and processes

Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor/manufacturing industry
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong communication, quantitative, and analytical skills
Strong exposure to manufacturing processes at Assembly (e.g. Wafer Saw, Die Bond, Wirebond, and Molding)
Experience in the application of statistical techniques and quality technologies such as FMEA, DOE, SPC, GR&R, Sampling plan procedures, and Machine/Process Capability Study
Knowledgeable of ISO and TS1949 requirements, DMAIC Methodology, and process control methods
Excellent computer skills
Ability to write technical documentation and reports
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay: 13th month salary, Bonus pay, Performance bonus
