Destinus, a leading innovator in aerospace technology, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team in Hengelo. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing small-to-medium-scale production teams, particularly in unmanned aerial vehicle assembly, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.

The Production Manager will be responsible for assembling and leading a production team of up to 50 employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, and providing mentorship and training to team members. Key responsibilities include managing resources, developing and implementing lean and continuous improvement principles, and ensuring timely and quality output.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, specifically in aeronautical assemblies, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams of up to 50 people.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).
  • English and Spanish proficiency.
