Senior Data Integration Specialist

Robert Walters Spain is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our data integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions that support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop scalable and efficient data integration processes using ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines.
  2. Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure adherence to data governance standards and policies.
  3. Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure data integration patterns are defined correctly.
  4. Monitor data integration pipelines for issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data integration and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and technologies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL/ELT development, or a similar role.
  3. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ETL/ELT tools.
  4. Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
  5. Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data integration services (e.g. Azure Data Factory).
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
