Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Regional Senior Accountant to join our team at Qorvo, Inc. as a key member of our financial operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective delivery of the end-to-end operational accounting process and activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing expert guidance on financial procedures and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations: Provide expert guidance on financial procedures and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Accounting Process Management: Manage the end-to-end operational accounting process and activities, including record-to-report and general ledger processes.
  • Financial Statement Audit Support: Provide support for US GAAP and statutory financial statement audits.
  • Payroll Process Management: Manage the EMEA payroll process, including liaison with regional payroll providers and maintenance of client rules on the International Payroll matrix.
  • Financial Expertise: Provide expert guidance on financial procedures and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the EMEA accounting team, including service management and governance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience: Five to seven years of US GAAP accounting experience.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish; in addition, French, German, and/or Dutch are a plus.

  • Project Management: Develops work plans, identifies data needs, and successfully interprets analytic insights.
  • Business & Strategic Acumen: Understands Qorvo's blueprint, business processes, and the Company's key strategies.
  • Financial Statement Acumen: Can create core financial statements and navigate footnote disclosures to perform analysis and reach basic conclusions.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis: Creates and provides robust performance reporting metrics and analysis.
  • Cost Productivity Management: Understands and applies variable and fixed cost drivers to develop plant manufacturing expense budgets.
  • Controls, Compliance & Risk: Identifies potential threats/risks to achievement of control and compliance objectives and designs basic control processes.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Basic understanding of planning and forecasting purpose.
