Job Title: Neurologist Specialist in Neuromuscular Diseases and Clinical Trials

The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution that promotes and develops biomedical research, innovation, and teaching at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital (HUVH), the biggest hospital in Barcelona and the largest of Catalan Institute of Health (ICS).

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist Specialist in Neuromuscular Diseases and Clinical Trials to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Neuromuscular diseases and experience in clinical trials.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials
  • Give support in Neuromuscular Unit consultations
  • Collaborate with study coordinators and neurologists
  • Prepare and organize clinical trials and the follow-up of patients with neuromuscular diseases
  • Analyze genetics, immunology, and radiologic tests
Requirements
  • Neurologist specialized in Neuromuscular diseases
  • Additional training in Neuroimmunology (Myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome)
  • Fluency in Spanish, English (business level)
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Neuromuscular diseases
  • Knowledge of Immunology, genetics, and MRI
