**Job Summary**
We are seeking an exceptional Ambitious Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's sustainability initiatives and gain valuable experience in environmental management.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs department in the Iberia region. Key tasks include:
* Coordinating with external auditors and departments to ensure compliance with environmental legislation
* Maintaining accurate documentation and recording actions in digital platforms
* Setting up a system for periodic monitoring and reporting on environmental performance data
* Providing technical assistance for the implementation of environmental emergency response plans, waste management, and PPW legislation
* Supporting the digital recording and reporting of packaging and packaging waste data, including quarterly and yearly official reports
* Implementing improvements in digital platforms to enhance user experience and communication of environmental performance data related to Sysmex Portugal - ISO 14001 certification
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An environmental sciences degree student or relevant qualifications
- Excellent English and Spanish language skills
- Good knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements and implementation, preferably in the distribution sector
- Systems-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Digital literacy and ability to manage small projects autonomously
