About the Role

As a Process Optimization Specialist at Storio Group, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality in our manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions that boost our overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement standardized work instructions and procedures to optimize production flow and quality.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify trends.
  • Work closely with the production team to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for improvement, using RCA, VSM, and Kaizen events and other Lean tools to optimize processes and eliminate waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, and use Lean principles to identify and eliminate safety hazards and risks.
  • Develop comprehensive process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and associated technical documentation.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to execute process improvement and reliability projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability engineering principles, as well as Lean methodology and problem-solving tools such as RCA, VSM, and Kaizen events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
