We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Datacenter Engineering team at Microsoft. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and governance for our operational datacenter fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering expertise to support site operations teams
- Develop mitigation plans to system-level issues
- Train site operations teams on new facility designs and sequence of operations
- Develop and govern electrical system EOPs
- Provide technical guidance on facility operations and support best practices analysis and recommendations
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer
- College/university/professional degree in Electrical Engineering or related work experience
- Strong experience with operation and maintenance of building electrical systems
- Solid understanding of critical datacenter or equivalent high-tech critical environments equipment
