Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at AgileEngine, LLC. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines using DBT for transformation and modeling, managing and optimizing data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, and developing and maintaining ETL processes using Fivetran for data ingestion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement data pipelines using DBT for transformation and modeling, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Data Warehouse Management: Manage and optimize data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • ETL Process Development: Develop and maintain ETL processes using Fivetran for data ingestion, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage resources in AWS, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Fivetran.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions, ensuring effective communication and project management.
  • Workflow Automation: Implement workflow automation using ArgoWorkflows to streamline data processing tasks, improving efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Python, with a proven track record as a Data Engineer with a focus on DBT, Snowflake, ArgoWorkflows, and Fivetran.
  • Skills: Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying, experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, experience with Kubernetes, familiarity with data modeling concepts and best practices, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Language: Upper-intermediate English level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Experience: +2 years experience with Golang.
