About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team in delivering offshore wind projects safely, on time, and within budget. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing changes related to the engineering area and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a multidisciplinary engineering team covering basic design and detailed design of all disciplines/sub-packages required.
  • Manage budget and project engineering scope as defined by the contract award, liaising with reference institutions, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of resources in each project team and report periodically on project progress.
  • Support new business by providing experience to the Business Development team and participate in proposing RD projects in the field of your competence.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in engineering management in Offshore Wind/OG engineering or shipbuilding.
  • English level C1.
  • Knowledge of Project Management software tools such as MS Project.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil, Offshore or Marine Engineering.
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret contract requirements and engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency in scheduling multiple workflows in medium and large engineering projects.
  • Profound industry knowledge and understanding of design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
  • Understanding of the technical and commercial drivers of an offshore wind farm project.
  • Ability to interface with other Business Units and upper management.
